Talking to you: Christof Lauer

Christof Lauer, one of Europe's great jazz saxophonists, has spent 25 years as an NDR soloist, decades more in the Hessischer Rundfunk ensemble, and as a member of Albert Mangelsdorff's quintet. "Talking to You" reveals how this idiosyncratic musician tells his story through sound and why he will never stop searching for new forms.
The film screening will be accompanied by a saxophone concert by Christof Lauer.
Following the screening, there will be a discussion with the artist and the film's director, Lucie Herrmann.
